Computeach Careers Process

1. First point of contact

   After enrolling on a Computeach course, you will be contacted by Computeach Careers to:

   • Introduce the Careers team and explain the services we provide
   • Answer any questions you have about Computeach Careers
   • Explain how to register and the importance of registering with Computeach Careers

2. Registration and CV writing

   We recommend that you register with Computeach Careers as soon as you are willing and able to work.
   

   
   
   • To register with Computeach Careers, you need to have a My Computeach account
   
   
   • If you do not have a My Computeach account, please click here and click on “New Customer? Sign Up”
   
   
   • Once you have signed up with My Computeach, a link will be emailed to you within 48 hours to activate your registration. You need to click on the link to activate your registration
   
   

   
   

   Once your registration has been activated, you can register with Computeach Careers giving us a call on 0800 298 5024

   or by clicking below:

   

   After registration, your IT based CV is produced within 14 working days and emailed to you to check.

3. Meet the Computeach Careers team face to face

   On your in-centre day, you will be given a presentation from Computeach Careers, which explains the services and support we provide.

   You will meet your dedicated Career Consultant and begin to build a business relationship with them.

   You will be given a full information pack about Computeach Careers.

4. Advice and support throughout the job search process

   Our Career Consultants help you throughout the job search process, including:

   • One to one meetings
   • Finding out your job requirements
   • IT-based CV writing and CV updates
   • Assistance with covering letters and application forms
   • Canvassing your details to companies
   • Pre and post interview advice, including mock interviews
   • Useful website addresses to assist with job-hunting
   • Providing academic references
   • Be pro-active and contact us if you need assistance

5. Job Vacancies - application, interview & placement

   • When we have a suitable vacancy, your consultant will call you to discuss the opportunity
   • With your agreement, your details are sent across to the client
   • Your consultant will call you back to provide feedback, or to arrange an interview
   • Before your interview, your consultant will call you to give you useful advice and to answer any questions
   • At the offer stage, your consultant will call you to discuss the whole package and answer any questions
   • Computeach students can still use the services of Computeach Careers once they have been placed in a job, or completed their course
   • The service provided by Computeach Careers is offered for life
