ESSENTIAL
Knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies
Knowledge of Windows Server 2000/2003, Exchange, Active Directory and other Microsoft Server technologies
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook
Proficient in other business technologies such as IP networking, wireless, security and backup
Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills
Job Description
#RESPONSIBILITIES#
Routine maintenance and servicing of computer hardware and network services to maintain constant availability
Emergency response to ICT problems and preventive maintenance to critical services
Installation of computer hardware and software
Manage user Accounts in schools and other client locations
Maintaining a backup regime for critical data
Assist and advise teaching staff in the use of ICT hardware and the use of suitable software in the production of new learning resources
Assess and report security risks
Ensure network policies are upheld
Assist in the development of ICT in the Schools
Assist with staff training, both for hardware and software
Salary/Benefits - £14190- £17973 depending on experience
Hours - TBC
