Job title – Junior IT Support Technician

Location - London, EC4R 2GA

Ideal student – Would ideally suit a student studying an MCP towards an MCSE/MCSA

Job description / person spec – Working for an established Market Makers based in central London.

Job Role: Junior IT Support Technician

  • Provide day-to-day 1st line support to business
  • Majority of work will be support related:
  • This might include items such as password resets, application troubleshooting, connectivity issues, printer issues, screen issues.
  • In addition to the frontline support function, there is a great deal of process work that happens in the background. Items such as backups, compiles and general maintenance activities will be expected in due course.
  • Also, involvement in projects such as new PC rollouts, installing operating systems and upgrades will be expected.

    • Salary/benefits - TBC

    Hours –

  • Shift work – alternate every second week between a 9am-5pm shift and then a 2pm-10pm shift
  • Adhoc work that might arise
  • Occasional weekend work – this would be seldom though
