Learning with Computeach

Our study programmes are designed to support you through every stage of your development, with up-to-date materials that utilise the best resources on the market and always take into account the way in which you like to learn. Information is presented in distinct elements where each involves assessment, both to test learning and to provide immediate feedback about your achievement.

We offer a blended learning approach, consisting of a variety of methods and learning resources, such as:
• Books and printed materials including study guides
• Interactive materials (CD, DVD, video)
• E-learning
• In-centre days for our more advanced courses

You will mainly learn by distance learning, which is about giving you the flexibility to study at home in your spare time. Most of our students study at times that suit them, some students study in their work breaks, some study while travelling, but most study from home. Our IT distance learning courses can be studied at your own pace, in your own time, around your work, social or family commitments.

Although most of your study will be by distance learning, some of our courses have in-centre days to ensure that you get some ‘hands on’ experience. Our tutor-led events and workshops are highly structured and build on the learning that you have been doing on your own and with tutors. The in-centre days give you the chance to review and revise in preparation for your assessments. Not only will you meet your tutor, you will also get to spend time with other students. These are held at our top class facilities in Dudley or Hammersmith.

You will have an allocated tutor to support you throughout your course which means that you are never left on your own. All of our tutors have the relevant technical qualifications and we also place strong emphasis on their tutoring skills. This means they are well placed to help you succeed. Our tutors are happy to help by email and phone. You will also receive support from other students, and our thriving online community in our student forums.
