On completion of the Microsoft Networking career path you will have proven your expertise in designing and implementing networks based on the Microsoft Windows 2003 platform and the Microsoft Windows Server System. You will have also proven that you are able to ensure security across your networks. A network is two or more computers that are linked in order to share resources such as printers, to exchange files or to allow electronic communications. Most organisations, large and small, will be using networks and will need skilled staff to be able to manage and maintain them.
Ultimately you may aim to be a project manager or engineer, connecting and designing networks that will ‘talk’ to each other, even across the world.
