The report also concluded:

• IT skills shortages had risen from 6.8% in the previous year's survey to 7.9%
• Overall, the NCC reported that demand for systems and support skills is expected to grow to 10.2%
• Systems developmentskills demand is predicted to increase by 13.1%
• 80% of respondents said they expected IT staff numbers to increase over the next two years by more than 20%
