Q.  Do I need a PC with Internet access?

A.  Yes, and broadband is required for all courses. Please refer to the 'Detail' course information tabs to establish the software and hardware requirements for each career track:

Support Professional

Website Design Professional

Networking Professional

Programming Professional

Database Administration Professional

Q. How long will it take to complete my IT training course?

A. This depends on how many hours per day/week/month you can dedicate to your training programme and which career track you have chosen. For example, if you apply 10 hours study per week towards the Support Professional track, you are likely to complete within 12 months.

Once you have chosen your desired contract, you dictate the pace of your studies. Your initial subscription will be for a minimum of 12 months but you can continue to study with us for as long as you like following your first year.  This may enable you to complete more qualifications along your chosen career path. For example, if you have chosen the Support Professional track and have completed the programme up to and including the CompTIA A+ qualification, you may proceed to the next phase i.e. Customer Support Representative (CSR) and then to MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician.

Obviously, attaining additional skills and qualifications will improve the type and number of job opportunities available to you.

Q. How do I fund my IT training course?

Q.  How will your careers service help me to get a job?

A.  We have dedicated consultants who cover the whole of the UK. Don't worry if you don't have IT qualifications or experience as many of our successful students have very few qualifications and relatively basic IT knowledge prior to enrolment.

Q.  Am I guaranteed a job if I pass my exams?

A.  Beware of any organisation offering to guarantee a job at the end of the training programme, as it could be disingenuous and almost impossible to honour. Our Careers team will provide you with all the job search support they can.   Rest assured, we have successfully helped thousands of students find IT employment with some of the UK's largest organisations.

Q.  What am I likely to earn?

A.  This depends on the course you've undertaken, the opportunities available at the time of applying for IT roles in your area and any prior-knowledge or experience you may possess. You should be realistic about starting salary levels as they will be in-line with experience.
