This certification can lead to a successful career as a Web designer, creative director, Web marketing/business specialist or art director. Master CIW Designers develop and maintain Web sites using authoring and scripting languages, create content and digital media and employ standards and technologies for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer e-commerce Web sites.
The Computeach CIW Professional course covers the fundamentals of web browsers, FTP and e-mail, web page authoring using XHTML, basic networking infrastructure and project management. It also covers standards, technologies and practices for e-commerce models and the principles of designing, implementing and maintaining websites using a range of authoring and scripting languages, content creation tools and digital media tools.
Prerequisites
To take this course you don’t need to be a computing expert but you should have a basic knowledge of personal computers and the Internet together with an interest in both the design and technical aspects of websites.
