The Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) programme is the world's fastest growing vendor-neutral Internet certification. CIW is a Web technology standard adopted by academic institutions, governments, and businesses worldwide. CIW certifications verify that certified individuals have the skills necessary to master a technology-driven world. In today's competitive workplace, certified CIW professionals have proven abilities that set them apart from other Web professionals.
You'll start with the CIW foundations modules and once you have these under your belt we'll introduce you to the Adobe Dreamweaver and Flash certifications, providing you with the software^ to support your study. We'll help you build your own portfolio of work. We know that this is a really good way for you to demonstrate your own ideas and grab the attention of hiring managers.

You'll hone your design skills and explore best practice before moving onto Photoshop and E-Commerce to build a truly commerce-driven website that maximises audience usability, demonstrating secure e-commerce transactions and driving sales.
^ Your course material includes a copy of Adobe’s software (a non-commercial, student edition), to help you study and build your student portfolio.
This one day event lets you meet the team so we can get you started with your studies. We'll give you your printed study material and show you how to get the best out of them. You'll meet other students, the tutors and the careers team so you know who you're working with and can make some study buddies to help support you through your programme. Of course you'll also take a look at what web-design is all about and start to build your very own pages and interaction on the web.
These modules will help you learn the basic hands-on skills and knowledge that a professional is expected to understand and use. Foundation skills include basic knowledge of Internet technologies, network infrastructure, Web authoring using XHTML and job skills such as project management
