IT delivers for postman Tim

Tim is extremely optimistic that his new role in IT will enhance his life for the better. He now has the job satisfaction and progression he was longing for.

Tim Hutchinson had spent most of his life as a postman, sorting and delivering mail. Feeling unfulfilled and unhappy in his job, Tim decided on career change that had plenty of scope for progression.

With a keen interest in computers, and plenty of spare time to study, Tim decided to undertake an IT course (MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer). Tim had basic IT knowledge, and had built several computers for himself and helped members of his family and friends with their computer problems.

Tim decided to study with Computeach after researching several courses and their associated career paths. He felt the MCSE with Computeach was very comprehensive and good value for money.

The course required a lot of hard work and willpower but Tim offers these words of support:

Don't get down hearted when you think it is not coming together, keep going, it will get easier and make more sense.

Studying with Computeach, Tim had the benefit of being able to phone tutors for technical help. Combining this with the right study materials and access to a community of students, he could always get the answer to his questions.

Once Tim was ready to look for a new career, he registered with the Computeach Recruitment, who helped him to write his cv and search for jobs.

"The careers support was second to none, who kept me informed about job vacancies in my area and gave me the encouragement to keep looking even when I had a disappointment from one of my interviews."

Tim is extremely optimistic that his new role in IT will enhance his life for the better. He now has the job satisfaction and progression he was longing for.
