Neil climbs the IT career ladder

Neil Twiggers was a computer software sales executive. It was a job that he disliked and felt did not offer any career prospects.

He craved a job that would show him a better future and inspire him to achieve greater things.

I wanted to earn a good wage doing something I enjoyed that would allow me to grow to reach my career goals in life

Having studied art at school and also being technically minded, Neil decided on a career in IT. He thought that web design and IT programming would best suit his interests.

Neil heard about Computeach after a television advert caught his eye and made him see that there were career options open to him. Through retraining, Neil could realise his dream of achieving more with his life and find the job he desperately wanted.

The advert spoke about IT training at his own pace, which grabbed Neil's attention and led him to contact Computeach for further information.

"Computeach allowed me to study at a rate that allowed me to continue to work and still meet the requirements of the course".

Neil enrolled on a web design and IT programming course, to follow his interest in design. He has worked at his own speed, educating himself with the help of Computeach in the IT course that took the personal skills he already possessed, and that best reflected his IT career aspirations.

Neil was able to get his foot on the IT career ladder in web design through the Computeach Careers department. They acted on his behalf to find him possible job leads.

"The team in Computeach careers help me find my first job as a web designer, working for a company started by an ex-Computeach student".

Neil is still continuing his IT studies with Computeach, expanding his IT knowledge, enhancing his personal development and his career future.

"My experience with Computeach has been very positive, the tutors were excellent all the way through my studies and I found the course literature very good and easy to follow".

"I am now working with really great people, doing something that I enjoy, and my career prospects are endless".
