Privacy Statement
We know you take your privacy and the protection of your data seriously and so do we. This page tells you what data we collect and what we'll do with it.
What information do we collect and why?
If you visit our site or email us we will usually collect information about you.
We don't always collect the same information from every visitor and what we collect from what you've emailed will depend on what you've sent us and why.
The information we collect depends on what pages you visit and what activities you choose to do. Mostly we collect only the information that we'll need to deliver the service or activity you've asked for but we do also collect some tracking information that is used only to measure the performance of our web site (like the number of people that visit us, how many pages they look at, etc.). This tracking information isn't linked to anything that is personally identifiable unless you decide you want to register for one of our services.
Some of the things we might collect and store include:
- Your IP address - we use this to know how many people visited us and so that the site can remember who you are and save you time next visit
- A record of the pages visited and where you came to them from - we might use this to tailor the information we offer you and also to help us improve our website
- Information about things you request or buy from us - so that we can deliver the service you've requested
- Information you give us so that you can enrol on a free trial or on a course
- Any other information that you might choose to send to us
We may also use your information to provide you with tutorial services and programme updates and to offer you things from other people that we think you might be interested in.
If you don't want us to send you details about other products you can send an email to customercare@computeach.co.uk with the subject 'unsubscribe' and we'll stop.
Within our group of Computeach companies we are likely to share your data but only to provide you with a better service or to deliver on the products that you've bought from us.
We will not give your personal data to third parties unless you tell us we can or unless we are required to do so by law or in connection with any legal proceedings or in order to exercise our legal rights.
How do we store your information?
We store the information we collect in safe and secure ways, using systems designed to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification, disclosure or alteration. Once you've signed up from an account with us (any kind of account) you need to be careful about keeping your user details safe and private. We won't ever ask you for your password. You can use the password reset function on the website if you forget it.
