A new multifunctional device launched by mobile firm Palm will appeal to the general public as well as professional users, say technology experts.
According to news site Mobile Gazette, the Palm Pixi's new features suggest it is aimed at both business and everyday customers.
Launched last week (September 9th), the device aims to give users faster and more instinctive experience using a small, customisable design.
Features of the phone include the ability to link user's information from Google, Facebook and Exchange ActiveSync, assembling it all into a single view.
Conrad Longmore, editor at the website, described the Pixi as a "Jack of all trades" and said that the handset's "attractive but quite sober" design offers a wide appeal.
Its compact nature of the Pixi suggests that it could compete with other smartphones designed for comfort and ease of use, such as the BlackBerry Pearl, he added.
