The government should provide small businesses such as those in the IT sector with more support to help them get off the ground during the recession, it has been suggested.
According to the Forum of Private Business (FPB), the government should be making greater effort to make it easier for small organisations and entrepreneurs to establish themselves.
"We need a more simplified, better tax system and a legislative system that's more conducive to business success," explained Phil McCabe, a spokesman for the FPB.
People considering establishing a new business in the IT industry may want to undertake IT training beforehand to ensure they have the skills necessary to make their venture a success.
According to a recent study conducted by IT research firm International Data Corporation, the IT industry will create over 75,000 new businesses across the globe during the next four years.
That will also result in the creation of 5.8 million new jobs worldwide, the report on behalf of software giant Microsoft stated.
