The launch of a mini-size, slim-line laptop will be the latest must-have accessory for the woman-about-town.
A little-known British computer manufacturer called Elonex today (January 8th) unveiled its innovative new 'netbook' that is small enough to fit into a handbag.
Priced from just £99 and measuring only seven inches, the tiny computer is designed to appeal to women, although a drastically reduced memory may limit its popularity.
"Wherever you are you have full access to anything on your home computer, but if you lose it on a train or bar, you have only lost £100 worth of kit, not all your valuable photos or documents," said Nick Smith, chief executive of Elonex.
In November 2008, Elonex was named Britain's leading computer vendor by IDC, as well as beating Apple and Samsung to take eighth place in sales of commercial laptops.
