Despite reports of faulty antennas, Apple's iPhone 4 managed to top the list of mobile devices compiled by Zeta Interactive, a marketing agency in New York, for the second year in a row, according to a report by PC World.
Apple's 3GS took fifth place while the T-Mobile G2 came second and the Motorola Droid X took third place.
"The firm uses an algorithm technology, called Zeta Buzz, that mines online posts, blogs, messageboards, video sites and social networks regarding a certain product category," PC World explained.
The company also looks at the positive and negative keywords surrounding each product, which is also incorporated into the rankings.
"For example, the T-Mobile G2 and the Samsung Fascinate (number six on the list) were most closely associated with value and cost-effectiveness. The most commonly used words to describe the phones were 'value', 'deal', 'price', and 'efficient'," the report added.
