Tablet computers like Apple's iPad will gradually become part of home living, according to Suzi Perry, presenter of Channel Five's The Gadget Show.
"Tablets are obviously something for everybody to get on board with and get used to, because I think they're here to stay and we're also going to be seeing a lot more things in the home being tablet-controlled by apps," she said.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Ideal Home Show in London, she went on
to say that there have also been other examples of companies creating
similar tablet products like Apple.
She said the partnership between Spotify and Sono's music system illustrates the convergent consumer technology and she described the enjoyment of music through tablets as "beautiful and really exceptional".
She also highlighted Motorola's Xoom tablet as a potential strong rival against Apple's dominance of the market though she conceded "no one can design like Apple".
