IT jobseekers are still making mistakes in their CVs with some research suggesting that nearly 88 per cent do so, according to Eliza Anyangwe, a journalist and speaker on the Guardian's Career Talk Podcast.
She said as a result some IT industry candidates are using augmented reality (AR) CVs, those in which they use video and computer generated data instead of words, as a way to avoid spelling mistakes and other grammatical errors.
"It is just an interesting story, because with AR CVs you can cut out spelling mistakes and grammar errors. If it is too lengthy, it can be shortened down, and it stops rambling," she said.
"It is not something that most people can use and the recruitment agency that has just launched this for IT professionals, CWJobs.co.uk, are only working with two students at the moment to help them launch their CVs this way," Ms Anyangwe said.
