People who use the internet must be more aware of the threats they face, according to Amit Klein, chief technology officer of Trusteer, a provider of secure web access services.
?"It is about education, informing users of the dangers of browsing the web and interacting with unsolicited emails, as well as being vigilant and alert about any out-of-the-ordinary lodge of business flows in a bank website," he said.
He also said businesses should look into security suites and products that protect browsers and operating systems from financial malware and provides clean browser environments for conducting financial business.
