Some broadband users in the UK are unhappy about the speed of their services due to the high expectations they have about their online connections, according to Michael Phillips, product director at BroadbandChoices.co.uk.
According to the expert, about two thirds of broadband users were are not happy with the speed of their service.
"Part of it is the way that people are using their internet connections. The thing I would say to consumers is [that] it's about making sure you are on the right package," he said.
He went on to say that those users who would not be downloading heavily need to make sure they are not paying too much for their internet packages as some broadband users tend to overspend for a service they don't use as often as they should.
Separately, three million broadband users are unhappy with their broadband speed - even though average speeds went up last year, uSwitch.com recently said.
