People over the age of 50 who are looking at the possibility of setting up their own business will have access to computer training in Worthing, West Sussex, it has been reported.
South African business woman Heather Dellar said she has set up the new venture inspired by her own experience and family history.
Ms Dellar said she acquired computer programming knowledge through her work, and she is also offering personal computer training to those over the age of 50.
"I’ve previously taught people at home about computers and also written a handy pocket-sized book on IT, too. I want people to know they can have fun with computers," she said.
Taking up computer programing training might be a good idea now as it was reported demand for IT workers has continued to be more stable recently.
Richard Nott, website director of CWJobs.co.uk, a specialist IT recruitment website, recently said: "The market has continued to stabilise and our latest data shows that demand for IT professionals has now increased for six consecutive quarters."
