The new Apple iPad has revolutionised the computing world with sales topping two million in less than two months, the company has revealed.
According to Apple, the tablet computer has been a huge success since it was released in the US on April 3rd and is now taking the UK, France, Canada, Germany, Spain and other countries by storm.
In news that may interest those in the IT industry, the device has been so popular that Apple is "working hard" to build enough to meet demand, chief executive Steve Jobs said.
"Customers around the world are experiencing the magic of iPad and seem to be loving it as much as we do," stated Mr Jobs.
The product enables users to view videos, browse the internet and send emails while on the move via its 9.7-inch touchscreen display with multi gesture functionality.
Individuals in search of IT jobs could be interested to note the iPad was released in the UK on Friday (May 28th).
