Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) has opened up registrations for student intake to its 2009 Masters in Digital Marketing Communications.
The university has partnered with specialist training firm Econsultancy to run the course on digital marketing practices and 2009 will mark the start of its third year.
A flexible approach has been given to the course, with students able to study on a part-time basis over a maximum of five years if they so choose.
Craig Hanna, training director for Econsultancy, said: "Our successful partnership with the MMU provides the right balance of tuition and support, class and online learning and hands on training sessions culminating in an internationally recognised academic qualification for successful students."
As a result of the course, many graduates may be encouraged to pursue further computer training or climb higher in their IT careers.
Modules covered include mobile marketing, online PR and social media marketing and web project management.
The university's website reveals the institution offers more than 1,000 separate courses for students from around the world.
