Toolwire, a company which specialises in experiential distance learning solutions, has become a recipient of the 2009 Institute of IT Training (IITT) award.
The company was declared a gold winner for Innovation in Training Services and received recognition for its contribution to the training industry.
Colin Steed, chief executive of the IITT praised Toolwire, which has office in both the UK and the US, for its dedication to innovation and its integrity in providing outstanding customer service.
Charles Jennings, former global head of learning for Thomson Reuters, said: "Toolwire's Live Labs and Day-in-the-Life interactive Scenarios support the delivery of critical skill-sets, enabling on-demand technology apprenticeships for our employees all over the world."
Toolwire invests around 30 per cent of its profits back into the development of new training techniques within the IT industry and leads the sector in this regard.
According to the firm's website it has been in operation for ten years and has developed partnerships with many of the leading learning organisations on the planet.
