By releasing a new portable charger Powertraveller hopes to give the new generation of netbook owners a solution to their current battery-life problems.
The company has launched Minigorilla, which it claims can give a computer user six hours of additional charge.
Netbooks are smaller versions of notebook laptops, which weigh in at less than a kilo and can be bought with screens as small as eight inches wide.
The trade off for such portability is battery life, and Powertraveller hopes its new product will help remedy this.
As well as netbooks, the charger can also be used to boost all of Apple's products including iPods and iPhones, while also providing power for mobile phones and video cameras.
Netbooks are leading PC sales, although owners who wish to use one of the diminutive machines on a web design course may find its screen size a drawback.
Microsoft has confirmed that its new operating system Window7 SE will be limited to netbooks and not available for use on other machines.
