Two separate organisations have joined forces in a bid to offer IT training and a range of additional career-oriented courses over the internet.

Gatlin International, a leading elearning provider, has partnered with the Flowers School of Technology and Management to offer the courses through the FlowersSchool.co.uk website.

The courses have been designed for a wide range of applicants, from people seeking web design courses and IT training through to those looking to expand their skill sets or pursue a career change.

Gillian Duncan, managing director of Gatlin International, said: "Now Flowers School of Technology and Management students can advance their skills and obtain career certificates through the convenience of working from their personal computer and at their own pace."

Courses on offer are non-credit and allow students to study from the comfort of their own homes at a pace that suits them.

In related news, a new workshop designed to develop IT training opportunities has been arranged by e-skills UK.
