Technology firm Nikon has revealed some of the secrets of its e-learning initiative which has enabled many people to gain new skills through home learning.
The camera manufacturer has provided a wide variety of training courses to its resellers but the firm has more recently been using the power of the internet to reach out and provide expert guidance and home study solutions.
In conjunction with Kineo, the organisation has run a number of home-based learning courses via the internet.
"We now have a training package that offers more than anything else within the photo industry," said a spokesperson for Nikon.
The company has issued a training course case study that demonstrates the effectiveness of its home learning programme and reveals some of the successes that it has had.
Nikon is one of the world's top producers of cameras and is committed to providing customers with new value that exceeds their expectations, its website states.
