MPs Derek Wyatt, John Hutton, Alan Johnson and Kerry McCarthy are celebrating after receiving awards from the British Computer Society (BCS).
The four received the gongs at the second annual BCS MP Website Awards held at the House of Commons last week.
The competition was set up after a survey by BCS discovered that less than one in ten (seven per cent) of UK adults had seen their MP's website and less than half (46 per cent) even knew their name.
The fact that new technology played such a massive role in the recent US elections will be a call to action for many UK politicians, but businesses will also be looking at the situation and wondering how best to use technology to engage their customers.
One possible solution is to invest in IT training in order to develop the necessary skills to build and maintain a technology-based rapport with customers.
Tottenham MP David Lammy was a runner up in both the design and engagement categories.
The current minister for higher education and intellectual property in the department for innovation, universities and skills has served as Tottenham's MP since the year 2000.
